Fried Tuna Balls
2 (6 oz / 170 g) cans of tuna 2 Tbs olive oil 1 tsp herbs de provence 1 Tbs dry parsley 1/4 cup grated parmesan or romano cheese 1 Tbs lemon juice 1 Tbs flour salt and pepper
1. If tuna is packed in oil, pour entire contents into mixing bowl; if packed in water, drain then pour into bowl. Add olive oil ONLY if tuna was packed in water. 2. Add all other ingredients and mix well. 3. Make balls by taking a serving spoon size portions and forming them balls about 1" in diameter by rolling ingredients in your palms. 4. Fry balls in olive oil until crispy.
Serve with pasta. |
