Spanish Rice with Bacon or Sausage

2 cups of rice
1 cup fried bacon broken into pieces or sausage cut into pieces
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 can (12 oz) crushed tomatos with liquids
2 cups chicken buillon stock
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp Tabasco or similar hot sauce

1. Heat frying pan to medium high temperature and fry bacon
or sausages. Remove meat and set aside.
2. Leaving the grease in the pan  and add rice, onion, garlic,
tomatos, buillon stock, chili powder, cayenne, and hot sauce.
3. 3, Reduce to medium low heat. Cook 20 minutes until liquid
is absorbed and rice is soft. If needed add small amounts of
additional liquid to keep mixure moist while cooking.
4. Break bacon into pieces and add to the mixture or add the
pieces of sausage. Cook 5 minutes more and serve.
