Lentils
Dried lentils travel well and can be used in a variety of ways.
They can be served alone or with rice.
Basic Cooking
At 2 cups of dried lentils to 2 1/2 cups of boiling water or
vegetable bullion stock and cook for 20-30 minutes until soft.
Spice Them Up
Add ingredients such as onion, garlic, bay leaves, carrots,
sausage, etc.
Make Lentil Soup
Increase the water or stock and add favorite flavorings
