Grilled Cheese Sandwich
2 pieces of bread for each person to be served
Cheese (best with a flavorful cheese such as cheddar, gouda,
emmenthal)
butter
Dijon-style mustard (optional)
Sliced onion (optional)
1. Heat frying pan to medium.
2. Spread butter on one side of the bread slices and put in pan
butter side down.
3. Slice cheese and put on bread in the pan.
4. Add onion slices.
5. Spread mustard on an unbuttered side of bread and put on top
of cheese and onions with buttered side facing up.
6. Grill both sides of sandwich until lightly browned
Serve with or without soup.
