Fried Sardines
2 (6 oz / 170g) cans of sardines, drained 3 garlic cloves, chopped 1/4 cup lemon juice 1 tsp chili powder 1 tsp dried parsley 1/2 cup flour 1/4 cup olive oil salt and pepper
1. Mix chili power, salt and pepper, and flour on a plate. 2. Heat frying pan to medium high, add olive oil and garlic. 3. Dip sardines in flour mixture and add to frying pan. 4. When all sardines are in the pan, pour on lemon juice. 5. Continue frying and turn sardines until browned on both sides.
Serve with boiled potatos. |
