Ways to Dress Up a Can of Spinach
Heat in own juices, then drain the spinach and add one of the following
* bacon bits * croutons made from toasted bread
OR
Heat a frying pan, add 2 Tbs olive oil and 2 cloves diced garlic. Fry 3-5 minutes. Drain and add the spinach, continue flyring until warm.
OR
Heat a frying pan, add 2 Tbs olive oil, 1 Tbs flour, 1/2 can evaporated milk, and 1/4 cup romano or parmesan cheese, and mix into creamy sauce, Add drained spinach, salt and pepper to taste, and serve. |
