Canned Asparagus with Parmesan Cheese

2 (8 oz / 220 g) cans or jars of asparagus or asparagus tips
2 Tbs butter
1/2 cup parmesan cheese

1. Empty asparagus and its packing liquid into a frying pan.
2. Cook on medium heat until warm. Drain liquid.
3. Return to heat, add butter, and sprinkle cheese on top.
4. Serve when cheese has melted.
