

10 Things to Do with Pasta When You
are Tired of Tomato Sauce
1. Fry 4 strips of bacon and break into pieces. Warm 1 can of
evaporated milk and add 1-2 tablespoons of flour to thicken.
Mix in the bits of bacon and 1 can of mushrooms drained. Add
black pepper. Serve over pasta.
2. Sauté 1 medium onion and 1-4 cloves of garlic; when
translucent, add ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes and 1 tsp dried
basil. Serve over pasta.
3. Mix 1 can of cut asparagus (drained) and ½ cup olive oil with
pasta.
4. Warm 1 can of sliced olives, 1 Tbs capers, and ½ cup olive
oil. Serve over pasta.
5. Warm 1 can of tuna and 1 can of condensed mushroom
soup (Don't add water). Mix with pasta.
6. Sauté 2 cloves of garlic in ¼ cup olive oil; add 1 can of
drained shrimp, 1 cup white wine, and 1 tsp dried basil. Serve
over pasta.
7. Warm 1 can of salmon with 1 tsp dried dill and ½ cup olive
oil. Mix with pasta.
8. Serve the pasta plain with butter and parmesan cheese.
9. Warm 1 can of chicken pieces (drained), 1 tsp oregano, and
1/2 cup olive oil. Mix into pasta.
10. Make pasta soup. Warm 2 quarts of vegetable stock, add
4-5 sliced carrots and 2-4 cut potatoes. Cook of 20 minutes.
Add pasta and cook until pasta is ready.
